Now days there is always someone talking about an event being apocalyptic. They seem to equate the word apocalyptic with the word catastrophic due to literal interpretations of the Book of Revelation, the last book in the New Testament. The word does not mean catastrophic. �Apocalypse� simply means a �revelation� This book was called the Apocalypse of John. It was the revelation of the mysteries that Jesus spoke of when he told the apostles, �To you I have revealed the mysteries.� They rarely seemed to fully understand what he meant and it is obvious that there is little understanding of the book of Revelation.

A lady named Emily Cady from New York who lived about 100 years ago and wrote so powerfully that Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, founders of the Unity Movement printed many of her articles and a very interesting book called, Talks on Truth. �What you want is revelation of Truth in your own soul, and that will never come through the reading of many books.�
