LEGO Racers events - 4 - 15 July

Launching in July the much-awaited Disney Cars 2 will also see the launch of LEGO's best Cars range yet. To celebrate this exciting month the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre will be one of the first in the UK to showcase the new product whilst guests take part in a very special LEGO Racers Build and Test competition with certificate giveaway.

LEGO Technic Extreme Machine Challenge - 11th & 12th August

In August the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre will be welcoming a LEGO Technic garage complete with huge dunk bins full of LEGO Technic as the biggest ever Super Car Challenge gets underway! Car fans are challenged to build their own LEGO Technic Super Vehicle in the LEGO themed garage for the chance to win supercar prizes. Amazing prizes up for grabs will include racetrack days for the big kids, supercar school runs for 10 - 17 year olds and �400 of LEGO Technic for 5 - 9 year olds. Whether you are a novice or an expert builder, there will be Technic mechanics ready to give tips and advice, and let you get elbow deep in Technic bits to make your model!

LEGO Alien Conquest - 22nd - 28th August

A Martian on Manchester's Town Hall or at Old Trafford? Aliens are set to invade MINILAND at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre from 22 to 28 August. Kids are encouraged to come dressed in costume - think green or whatever their imaginations can conjure up. Alien soldiers will take over MINILAND completely and kids will be challenged with finding the Alien commander to be in with a chance of winning a prize. There are loads of prizes from the Alien Conquest LEGO range up for grabs. MINILAND, built from more than 1.5 million LEGO bricks, brings the local area to miniature life with moving airships and trains.

Halloween - 15 - 31 October

The LEGO pumpkins are back! In 2010 the LEGO pumpkins in the model builder's workshop and this year they are huge!

Visitors will also be invited to take part in the ghost hunt to discover which of MINILAND's buildings are haunted this year.

Star Wars Days - 12 & 13 November

The force is back in the attraction again for another weekend of Star Wars fun where family and LEGO fans who have always dreamed of having their picture taken with a stormtrooper! All guests are encouraged to come dressed in costume - guests won't be alone as there will be experts on hand to show how it's really done. Other activities will include treasure hunts to spot the Star Wars characters hidden in MINILAND, along with free tickets on offer for the best costume of the day! Visitors can also take home a limited edition brick - perfect for those with a budding collection.

Christmas - 3 - 24 December

Santa is making his list and the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is giving kids the chance to make sure their favourite LEGO set is on it this year. Guests can take part in festive LEGO builds in the model builder's workshop.
